Queensland Water Police cap badge, These badges are obsolete as the Water police in QLD currently wear the Current QLD Cap Badge on their uniforms. The water police in QLD is one of the oldest police forces in Australia with their badges being one of the rarest. They are either numbered or have SGT engraved in front of them, This particular badge is blank, they were only used for presentation to Police Chiefs or other dignatories. and to the best of my knowledge, only very few were handed out.
